Nadcap MEETINGS

Nadcap meetings take place three times a year in locations around the world and are open to all Nadcap stakeholders and interested parties.

BENEFITS OF ATTENDANCE

There are many advantages to participating in a Nadcap meeting, such as:

  • Learning about and participating in Task Group activities such as checklist development
  • Attending Nadcap Management Council (NMC) and Supplier Support Committee (SSC) meetings to learn about current activities in the Nadcap community and sub-team initiatives
  • Networking with other delegates including aerospace Prime contractors, Suppliers and PRI staff
  • Benefiting from free eQuaLearn training such as Root Cause Corrective Action and How to Prepare for a Nadcap Audit

In keeping with the original spirit and purpose of the Nadcap program, all Nadcap meetings and related activities are to be conducted for the benefit of the aerospace industry as a whole.

Activities sponsored by any individual Nadcap participant in conjunction with a Nadcap meeting or Nadcap-sponsored event, including but not limited to promotional events (hospitality suites, receptions, site tours, etc.) distribution of marketing materials, etc. are discouraged by Nadcap leadership and the Nadcap Management Council.

To the extent that a Supplier engages in such activities and those activities interfere with the objectives of the Nadcap program, the Supplier may be asked to limit/modify/refrain from such activity.

NADCAP MEETING LOCATION: DETERMINING FACTORS 

Nadcap meetings are held 3 times a year in various locations, with the October meeting always organized in Pittsburgh. PRI provides an explanation on how the Nadcap meeting locations are selected.

FIRST-TIME ATTENDEE?

It is recommended that you attend the following: Subscriber Orientation Tutorial (for new Subscribers) Supplier Orientation Tutorial (for new Suppliers) Nadcap Management Council (NMC) Task Group meetings (Subscribers can attend any Task Group meeting, Suppliers may only attend open Task Group meetings. These are designated on the agendas.)
