Nadcap helps attract more business, web poll shows

16% of Nadcap accredited companies became accredited to attract new business, while 12% chose to become accredited to remain competitive in the aerospace industry, according to the results of a recent web poll conducted by the Performance Review Institute.

This supports the findings of a 2010 survey, in which 54%  of respondents indicated that Nadcap accreditation had helped increase sales or attract new business, with one respondent stating “Earlier, we… were known only in India… After Nadcap, we have worldwide recognition”.

The majority of Nadcap Suppliers are mandated by their customers to become accredited; however, it is positive to see that there is a significant minority who see the value in gaining accreditation, beyond compliance to customer requirements, and recognize that an accreditation like Nadcap can be used to demonstrate process control excellence.
