Karen Conroy has been with PRI since 2006. During this time at PRI, she has held roles in several areas including HR, purchasing and general office management. Prior to PRI, Karen spent 8 years with SAE International in the Automotive Business Initiatives area in a number of different capacities.
Through her career, Karen has gained membership association, leadership, management, strategic planning, meeting planning and administrative experience.
Karen holds a BS in Business Administration with a major in Administrative Management as well as Professional in Human Resources Certification. She is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), the Pittsburgh Human Resources Association (PHRA) and the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD).
Randy Daugharthy has 20 years of independent third-party standards development and certification experience. He also has experience in managing consumer product testing, inspection, and supply chain auditing programs. Randy has been involved in developing, implementing and auditing international and national quality, environmental, health safety, security and social standards applicable to a broad range of industries such as aerospace, automotive, chemical, electronics, oil & gas, forestry, retail, technology, industrial machinery, and others.
Prior to entering the certification industry Randy worked for G.G. Greene Enterprises, a company involved in metal stamping, cold heading, heat treating and plating. He had roles in quality, production, and business development.
In his various roles, Randy has been responsible for sales, marketing, strategy, new product development, operations, and has held senior management positions. He is currently the Director of Registrar for Performance Review Institute Registrar leading the strategy and overall operations of the organization.
Randy has worked directly with companies such as IBM, Shell, Chevron, Microsoft, Facebook, Walmart, Corning, Cummins, Texas Instruments, and others. He collaborated with key clients to identify certification, testing or inspection strategies and develop project management plans to achieve corporate objectives. This activity required coordination with global operations to meet client requirements and ensure clients are satisfied with the delivery of services.
Over his years of experience, he has participated in the development and launch of industry standards such as ISO 14001 (Environment), AS9100 (Aerospace), TL9000 (telecom), RC 14001 (Chemical), OHSAS 18001 (Health & Safety), Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI), Center for Sustainable Shale Development (CSSD), SA8000 (Social Accountability), International Assoc. Electronics Recycling and several others.
Randy has auditing experience to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, TS16949, SA8000 standards.
Scott has overall management responsibility for the Nadcap program as well as responsibility for identifying additional aerospace sector needs and creating industry managed solutions.
Prior to joining PRI, Scott held a broad variety of positions at SAE International over a 22 year career culminating with a position as part of the executive management team. Prior to joining the staff at SAE, Scott was an Aviation Maintenance Engineer at the Naval Aviation Depot Pensacola supporting US Navy and Marine Corps H-1 aircraft. Scott began his professional career as a commissioned officer in the US Navy.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School Executive Development Program. He is a Member of SAE, a Senior Member of AIAA, a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society, and a Board of Director for the American National Standards Institute. Scott is a Chartered Engineer in the United Kingdom.
Liu Le joined PRI in 2004 as the first PRI staff in the Asia Pacific region. Liu Le started as the Nadcap China Coordinator and became Manager for PRI Asia Pacific in 2009, managing PRI operations and business development in the Asia Pacific region. Liu Le has helped to grow the number of Nadcap Prime Subscribers and the number of Nadcap audits conducted in Asia, the latter of which has grown ten times since 2004. During his time at PRI, there have also been Primes from China and Japan either joined the PRI Board of Directors or subscribed to the Nadcap program.
Liu Le is also responsible for managing the daily operations of the two PRI Asia Offices (in China and Japan), with a particular focus on improving PRI customer service in Asia. Liu Le has ensured the steady growth of PRI eQuaLearn program in Asia which has been expanded from China mainland to other Asia regions including Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Indonesia. In addition, Liu Le has facilitated PRI’s strategic partnership with various government and industry agencies in Asian countries.
Prior to joining PRI, Liu Le worked as a Specialist for SAE International. Liu Le had also worked with Lean Enterprise Institute (LEI) on the translation of its publications. He was one of the translators for “Lean Lexicon”.
Liu Le received both of his BS and MS degree in Automotive Engineering from Tsinghua University, P.R.China.
Joining the organization in 2009 with over 30 years of experience in business administration, Jim earned both his B.S.B.A. and M.B.A. from Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, while simultaneously acquiring his Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation. Jim draws upon 10 years of experience gained as the Controller and later the Vice President / General Manager for a welded steel tubing manufacturer, along with 15 years of experience serving as Controller, Vice President, and finally Chief Financial Officer of a premier OEM of metals processing equipment.
Jim enlisted in the United State Marine Corps in 1975 and four years later received an honorable discharge at the rank of sergeant.
Joe was born in Sri Lanka and has been in the US for more than 35 years. He received his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sri Lanka and came to Purdue University where he completed a MS in Industrial Engineering.
He started his career at Sherwin Williams Company in Crisfield, Maryland, as a Mechanical and Industrial Engineer and proceeded to hold positions of increasing responsibility as Material Manager, Plant Manager and Director of Manufacturing for their specialty products division.
After two short stints as Vice President Operations at two privately held companies in Massachusetts, and Seoul, Korea, he joined PPG in 1987 and was assigned as Plant Manager of their Ontario, Canada Coatings Plant. In 1991, he moved to Tokyo to serve as Director, Business Development. In Asia/Pacific region, he went on to hold a series of leadership assignments in Jakarta, Hong Kong, Tianjin, Melbourne and Shanghai, during the time PPG was establishing their coatings business in the region. His last assignment in the region was Managing Director for Coatings Asia/Pacific. He returned to the US in 2005 as Global Director of Operations for Performance Coatings, a position he held until his retirement from PPG in 2010.
On 16 August 2010, Joe Pinto assumed the role of Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Performance Review Institute. He comes to PRI with an impressive industrial career and broad global experience. He has a demonstrated track record of successfully leading complex organizations and achieving strategic growth objectives.
Jon leads PRI’s Informatics Solutions team. The Informatics Solutions team develops, maintains, and enhances PRI’s software systems, including eAuditNet, and provides analytics and reporting services. Jon also directs the Transportation and Power Generation accreditation program, which helps rail and power generation OEMs and suppliers manage special process quality.
Prior to joining PRI in early 2009, Jon worked for 8 years as a Project Manager for SAE International, where he oversaw web application development, was responsible for the technology architecture, and led several cross-functional development and research projects. Previously Jon was a principal in a closely held training and consulting firm, where he oversaw business and product development. Jon taught high school language arts after getting his teaching certification during an MS Ed. Program at Duquesne University; he received his MBA from University of Pittsburgh’s Katz School of Business and his BA from Williams College.
